ARTIST STATEMENT
I explore what makes us who we are.
With backgrounds in documentary filmmaking and conceptual photography, I try to resolve inner conflicts rooted in dissociation, childhood identity and chronic illness.
I see art as a form of therapy - an attempt to make order of cognitive chaos. By facing dark and difficult questions, the work becomes an act of self-interrogation, and an invitation for others to face their own demons. Thoughts and feelings are distilled into dark, minimalist images, sound and music.
I’m the world’s first photographer to embrace Extended Reality (XR) as a new Fine Art medium. Blending digital elements into the real world, in real time… shooting images in-camera. Fusing past, present, and future… I interpret the world by building my own.
